Haha, that’s comforting to know. I have no idea what the broken glass was originally, but I reckon the glass looks better broken. Again, me being weird. ;/

1. Wished a high school friend happy birthday and loved that despite all the time that had passed since we last spoke, we still talked as if nothing had changed since high school.
   Name calling, poking fun, sarcasm, and such things.
2. Spent some time catching up with another friend over the phone.
   It had been a while since we had had a good simple conversation. Very very enjoyable.
3. New Kubera.
   ZOMG  Kubera  c l i f f h a n g e r s.

1. Found exactly the same style of sneakers to replace the ones that a breaking.
   If these break on me within next 3 months, someone is getting a shoe in their face.
2. Bought a pair of pants that I really liked for work.
   *sighs* I have spent so much money on my work wardrobe in the last couple of days. Hopefully it will all pay off.
3. Spoke to my neighbour today and he kept telling me how proud he was of me as he watched me grow up.
   That sort of acknowledgement is really nice.

1. Bought some new shirts for work that I really like.
   Ugh, work clothes are expensive.
2. Have been enjoying the show “Suits”.
   I was worried that it might be like Lie to Me, which I really don’t like, but it actually is much much better.
3. Enjoyed the company and honesty of a friend.
   Although they were distracted from me by D3, or I was distracting them from the game. In any case, I really appreciated the company.

1. Finally managed to find new work shoes and a wallet that was within my budget and that I liked.
   There were actually another pair of shoes I liked but they didn’t have any more in my size.
2. I asked a friend I regularly give lifts to “Can this chauffeur offer any services tomorrow?” She declined and I responded with “You’re putting me out of business! =P”
   I felt like I used normal humour and not my weird, morbid humour… or am I just kidding myself?
3. For the first time in a really long time, I felt somewhat accomplished and competent today. I thought about all the different things I’ve tried and done, despite not coming from a privileged family, not being the most eccentric or brilliant student, not having any experience in the professional services industry, or a smooth talker.
   It felt good to forget my own insecurities about myself and actually feel comfortable with myself, if only for a day. Now I know what I am working towards. =)

1. I walked past some broken blue glass on the way to the station last week and when I was going to the station again this morning, the glass was still there. I really like that broken glass. I think it looks pretty, especially in the light. 
   I liked it so much that I actually collected a couple of shards. I am so weird.
2. There is a local park that I always walk past and think “wouldn’t it be funny if I saw my friend who lives behind the park actually walking through the park”. Of course, on the one day that I am distracted my newly collected blue jewels and didn’t have that thought, I actually bump into him. 
   I think we were both very thrown off by the bump-in so had a very strange and somewhat forced conversation.
3. There was an announcement at the train station today and the announcer said “thank you.” at the end. A random customer listening to the announcement responded “you’re welcome”.
   “hehehe. I get your humour and your coolness.”

1. Introducing my lopsided smiley ;/
   Not everyone gets my strange, morbid sense of humour, but think so far my lopsided smiley has been well received.
2. Was contacted by someone wanting to buy one of my old textbooks. I had given up on being able to sell any more of them since they are mostly outdated editions now. So lucky!
   I used to love the beginning of new semesters because that meant being able to resell my textbooks and possibly making a profit. Though, any money I made pretty much all went to buying the next lot of textbooks I needed for classes. 
3. Downloaded a “that-time-of-the-month” tracking app after being nagged about keeping a record of my times by my doctors, friends and family.
   I know girls are meant to keep track of it, but do they really do that? I always thought most girls just kept a mental note of how long its been since the last time and to maybe see a doctor if there are too many irregularities. Seems like I have been mistaken. This would be another item that I can add to my list of “Things that I fail at as a girl”. XP

1. Finally managed to book an appointment to see a neurologist to check out my partial facial paralysis.
   With all the negative test results, it seems unlikely that I have Bell’s palsy or myasthenia gravis. This could be a good or bad thing. Hopefully the neurologist can sort it out quickly.
2. Ate lots of veggies today. They were just blanched and boring, but I ate it all anyway.
   Spinach, onion, capsicum, zucchini, mushrooms, cabbage, gailan, garlic.
3. Been enjoying a j-drama (Soredemo Ikite Yuku) I downloaded recently. 
   It’s better than I expected. 

1. Went to watch Dark Knight Rises with a friend.
   It’s been so long since I last went to the cinemas so watching a movie at all and with a friend too was a highlight. The movie itself was pretty good, though I thought some of the acting was a bit wooden.
2. I was parked in a carpark for much longer than I had originally intended and was worried about having to pay more than $50 for parking, but it turned out to be just $10 for a whole day of parking.
   Finally, some luck!
3. Was amused by the options for withdrawal amounts at an ATM in a “higher end” shopping centre. Instead of withdrawal amounts increasing, they decreased. So instead of it being $20, $40, $50, $100 then $200 top to bottom, it was $500, $200, $100, $50, $20.
   Really says something about the people that shop/live in the area. =P
